Drunk Driving – StarChase Successfully Deployed

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on the suspicion of possible drunk driving. The vehicle fled and continued to drive dangerously, so officers did not pursue and instead deployed a StarChase GPS Tag. Tracking the suspect, the officers were able to set up stop sticks and block off the roadway ahead. As the vehicle approached the stop sticks, the driver stopped and was taken into custody without incident.
