2 Arrested after Greeley police deploy StarChase on stolen vehicle

Nov. 26—Two people with active warrants were arrested after police say they ran from a stolen vehicle police tracked with the help of a license plate reader and a GPS dart.

About 5:07 a.m. Friday, a license plate reader alerted officers to a stolen vehicle. Police found the vehicle in the area of 16th Street and 11th Avenue.

Police deployed a StarChase GPS dart and remotely tracked the vehicle. It was found crashed and abandoned in the 500 block of 16th Street.
