Officers Use StarChase to Track Stolen Vehicle, Make 2 Arrests – StarChase Successfully Deployed

21-658 Police Officers were conducting surveillance when they observed a vehicle with stolen plates affixed and matching that of an outstanding steal. Uniformed officers in an unmarked vehicle equipped with StarChase attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the vehicle fled. Officers deployed a StarChase GPS Tag onto the trunk of the vehicle and the vehicle was actively and safely tracked to a location. Both occupants were taken into custody as they abandoned the vehicle.
