Nampa Police use pit maneuver to stop high-speed chase

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A man faces charges after a high-speed chase on I-84 on Saturday night.
According to Nampa Police, officers started pursuing an SUV in the area of 11th Avenue S and 2nd Street S for suspicion of DUI. The driver of the SUV has been identified as 49-year-old Jeffrey Elkins.
Police said the chase continued onto eastbound I-84 with speeds reaching as high as 90 miles-per-hour.
