Portland Indiana man faces criminal charges after 100 mph police pursuit

PORTLAND, Ind. — A Portland man faces criminal charges stemming from a police chase that allegedly saw speeds reach 100 mph.

Quentin L. Guntle, 26, is charged with two counts of resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended and reckless driving in Jay Superior Court.

A Portland police officer reported the chase, on Oct. 13, began after he observed a Chevrolet Impala make an unsignaled turn at Western and Seventh streets. Read more here.
