NH K-9 suffers fatal injuries during training

ROLLINSFORD, NH  — A police department mourned the death of their K-9 recently.

On May 22, Max the K-9 and his handler were conducting obedience training when Max mistimed a jump over a wooden structure while attempting to get his ball, the Officer Down Memorial Page reports. Max’s collision caused severe internal injuries.

The K-9 was transported to a local veterinary where his condition worsened. Max was humanely euthanized the following day.
