Mich. police searching for suspected street racing driver who struck LEO

Highland Park, Mich. — Police are searching for a suspect who hit an officer with a car early Monday morning, officials said.
The police officer was taken to a hospital. He was treated, released and returned to duty, said Marli Blackman, a city spokeswoman.
She said at about 12:46 a.m. Highland Park police officers were called to the area of Second Avenue and Manchester Parkway to respond to a report of drag racing.
