ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI – A driver rammed two patrol cars in Constantine before leading police on a high-speed chase that ended with a crash in Indiana, police said.
The incident began around 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, when a Constantine police officer stopped a vehicle near the entrance of a trailer park, at 1200 S. Washington St., for a license-plate violation.
The driver stopped, then backed into the patrol car, turned around and headed toward the exit, police said. He then rammed a St. Joseph County sheriff’s patrol car as he arrived for backup.
