Police: Man dragged officers, went on high-speed chase

ENOLA, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg man is accused of dragging two officers as he fled a traffic stop and then leading police on a pursuit that reached speeds of up to 120 mph.

Michael E. Shipe, 42, is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, fleeing and eluding, escape, and related offenses,

East Pennsboro Township police said Shipe was stopped early Saturday for a center turn lane violation on North Enola Road. Shipe did not have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and was wanted for fleeing and eluding in York County.
