CONCORD, N.H. — Members of New Hampshire law enforcement are standing up against legislation that would restrict police officer’s ability to use deadly force.

The bill would revoke the legal authority officers have to use deadly force in effecting an arrest, local news station WMUR 9 reports.

Supporters say they are not trying to tie the hands of police officers, but just want to save lives.
