Felon in Possession of Firearm Arrested, Stolen Vehicle Recovered – StarChase Successfully Deployed

21-862 Police Officers observed a stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. As the driver fled, police officers used a StarChase GPS tag to track the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was tracked to a strip mall where the driver was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. The driver was a felon and found to have a firearm on him at the time of the arrest. The firearm and stolen vehicle were safely recovered and the suspect was arrested.
