Suspect arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft and Possession of Meth – StarChase Successfully Deployed

21-583 Police Officers located a stolen vehicle near a known dope house. The residence recently had several recovered stolen vehicles. As the vehicle became occupied, officers successfully deployed a StarChase GPS Tag onto the back of the vehicle. Officers monitored the vehicle from a distance and tracked it to a park where the suspect was located and taken into custody. The driver was arrested for 1st Degree Motor Vehicle Theft and possession of methamphetamine. He had four previous MVT convictions and is on parole for Motor Vehicle Theft.
