Parole Violator Arrested – StarChase Successfully Deployed

21-700 Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle containing a passenger on parole for PC 187. The vehicle fled once the occupants realized a vehicle search was forthcoming. A vehicular pursuit ensued and a StarChase unit was called in to assist. Deputies successfully deployed a GPS Tag onto the back of the fleeing vehicle and officers were able to track the vehicle to a parking lot. After a brief foot pursuit and K9 search, the passenger and driver were both arrested without further incident.
