Officers Use StarChase to Track Stolen Vehicle Across State Line, 1 Arrest – StarChase Successfully Deployed

21-616 Police officers observed and attempted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle. Instead of pulling over, the driver fled. Officers were able to successfully deploy a GPS Tag onto the back of the fleeing vehicle and safely track it from a distance. As the stolen vehicle crossed state lines, officers were able to tactically coordinate a stop and arrest with their neighboring state authorities. After a half-hour of tracking the fleeing driver, authorities were able to safely arrest the suspect and recover the stolen vehicle without incident.
