Officials release identity of deceased following high-speed chase, deputy-involved shooting

Officials have released the name of the person who died early Sunday morning, January 24 following a high speed chase that ended in a deputy-involved shooting.

Tyree Kajuan Rogers, 38, of Wichita Falls, was pronounced dead after being transported to United Regional for gunshot wounds suffered during the incident.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Dan Buesing, the name of the female victim is not being released at this point in the investigation.
