Failed Traffic Stop – StarChase Successfully Deployed

Officers spotted a Toyota 4-Runner with a reported stolen license plate. Due to the area being a high crime with multiple reported stolen vehicles involved in felonious crimes – a traffic stop was attempted. As the vehicle fled, officers were able to deploy a StarChase Tag. Assisting detectives tracked the vehicle to a secondary location with a single occupant still in the driver’s position and taken into custody without incident.
