Clinton Twp. man held after leading police on lengthy chase with child in car
A Clinton Township man is expected to be arraigned Thursday on several charges after he led police on a lengthy chase with his wife and 1-year-old child in the vehicle.
The pursuit, which went through four Macomb County communities, ended Tuesday evening when he crashed through a metal gate a a residence in Harrison Township near the Clinton River.
Police said the 32-year-old suspect risked the lives of his family and the motoring public in an attempt to “push and bait” the officers into making a mistake during the chase.
