3 People Hospitalized After Car Chase Ends In Crash In Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Three people are hospitalized after a car chase through part of Cleveland, the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced.

On late Saturday, a trooper saw a Jeep Cherokee weaving in and out of traffic on I-90. The trooper tried to stop the car, but the Cherokee sped up and tried to elude law enforcement, the patrol said.

During the chase, the Cherokee pulled off the W. 98th St. exit and flew down the ramp at 90 mph, the patrol said. The trooper stopped his pursuit to protect other drivers.
