STARCHASE APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Sept. 28, 2011 – StarChase LLC, a company providing GPS tracking and pursuit management technology to law enforcement worldwide, has appointed Keo Hadsdy as the company’s director of engineering and technology. In his new role, Hadsdy will lead the evolution and production of StarChase’s pursuit management and tracking technologies.

Prior to joining StarChase, Hadsdy has held leadership roles at General Dynamics since 2001. As the lead system integration manager for the Expedition Fighting Vehicle (EFV), Advance Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV) and Future Combat System (FCS) programs, his team led the integration effort though cross-functional development for a range of engineering groups, including firepower, armor, hydrodynamic appendages, hydraulics, vehicle electronics, manufacturing and quality. Filling a leadership role on the corporate development team, Hadsdy helped to define the future strategic path for government programs, and developed and promoted market solutions. Additionally, he managed the software regression at proving ground test sites to certify General Dynamics’ end products met customer requirements.

As the engineering manager for FCS at General Dynamics, Hadsdy managed multidisciplined engineering teams, including electrical, mechanical, software and hardware disciplines.

Previously, Hadsdy held the positions of senior design R&D engineering manager at Vantage Mobility International; senior advance R&D engineering manager at SCP Global Technologies/ESS West, Inc; senior principle engineering project manager at Motay Corporation; senior lead sustaining department at IPEC/Planar; mechanical engineer at KES System Corporation; and electrical engineer at DynaTronics, Inc.

“Keo brings over 20 years of engineering, design, system integration and technology expertise to his new position at StarChase,” said Karen Jaffe, CEO of StarChase. “We will look to him to steer the technical innovation and advancements of our products. Under his guidance, we’re now in a position to further evolve our technology and expand our market presence.”

Hadsdy holds an international Master of Business Administration from Western International University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Advancing Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
