STARCHASE ANNOUNCES ENHANCED SECOND-GENERATION PURSUIT MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Sept. 27, 2011 – StarChase LLC, a company providing GPS tracking and life-saving pursuit management technology to law enforcement worldwide, announces the second generation of the company’s flagship pursuit management technology.
The patented system allows an officer to tag and track a fleeing suspect vehicle. Major enhancements to the technology include an on-board air compressor and a single-pressure vessel design. The units are now smaller, to fit into more vehicles, and lighter in weight. The new systems also feature ruggedized electronics.
“The second-generation pursuit management system was manufactured especially with reduced cost and improved performance in mind,” said Trevor Fischbach, president of StarChase. “For example, the single-source pressure design allows for consistent delivery in varying temperatures and environments and brings the system up to pressure on demand for near-instantaneous vehicle tagging.”
Fischbach added, “International law enforcement vehicles are typically not as large as in the United States, so this smaller unit will allow us to meet demand for global sales.”
The second-generation systems are currently being deployed to a variety of agencies, across the United States and abroad.
